A below par batting performance saw Lancaster 2nds lose out once again at home to Chorley. Only Tom Williamson and Michael Armstrong could muster double figures as wickets fell regularly with the scoring rate never getting going. Ian Oakes took advantage of the conditons to take 4-15 for the visitors, with Lancaster subsiding for just 82.
In reply a solid 47 opening partnership from the Chorley openers put the total within relatively easy reach. Callum East, Tom Williamson and Matthew Liver each picked up consilatory wickets, but 82 proved too small a total to defend as Chorley overhauled the total just 4 wickets down.
