A steady start from Charlie Swarbrick and Alex Metcalfe was ended when Swarbrick nicked off by Kieran McCullough for 22. Metcalfe followed holing out to mid-off before James Lee picked up his second at Jamie Heywood departed for 9.
Cameos from Sam Moorby, Lee Sparks and Ben Simm kept Lancaster moving but regular wickets left the hosts in need of a substantial partnership.
