Rain wins the day

Rain put pay to any hope of a game at Lodge Quarry. After a delayed start Carnforth reached 33-2 off 9 overs after Carnforth elected to bat on a flat track. Liam Moffat impressed with 2 early wickets, castling Rob Parker and nicking off Ryan Nelson to Jamie Heywood at slip. However the weather closed in again and persistent heavy downpours made play impossible despite the good drainage up at Carnforth. Like every other game in the league this week, it was 4 points apiece, Kendal at home next week the 23rd.
